expressions exists to:

Listen to God. Listen to kids. Listen to parents.

These are exciting times at Bethany and in our children and family ministries! We count it a privilege to be teachers and ministers of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ amongst our children and families.

5th & 6th Graders

Preteen Ministry

For our preteens (5th and 6th graders), we're taking this approach one
step further and inviting them to remain in the service alongside their parents.

We believe that this age is critical as preteens look outside the home for new role models so we want to assist you, as parents, to maximize your influence in the eyes and lives of your children. Whether or not your
pre-teen will admit it, parents, are still the most influential people in their lives.

They may not even realize it but you are! We are also aware that
the teen years are directly facing you and your children and that now is
the time to act, to influence, to disciple, and to love your child into the
next phase of their physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development.

Let us partner with you by not only welcoming and including them in the service, but we will also provide a Pre-Teen Bulletin for them, helping
them connect the message to their lives. Together let's impact them for Christ, His Kingdom and for eternity's sake!

Since we know this can be a challenging time for kids and parents, we
also want to specifically partner with your family as you navigate the transition your kids encounter as they move from childhood into the teen years. This is a combined effort using fun and games (pairing up with our Junior High Group for high-energy activity) and targeted teaching to help
kids maintain (or even gain) their identity in Christ as they grow into
young men and women of God.
