Children and Family Ministries

This ministry in its many facets and
expressions exists to:

Love God. Love kids. Love parents.
Serve God. Serve Kids. Serve parents.
Minister to God. Minister to kids. Minister to parents.
Listen to God. Listen to kids. Listen to parents.

These are exciting times at Bethany and in our children and family ministries! We count it a privilege to be teachers and ministers of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ amongst our children and families.

Elementary Age

Kindergarten through 4th grade

In the elementary areas, our children will experience the continuity of
the "Disciple Land" curriculum and remember the names and welcoming faces of our committed Sunday School staff and teachers during the
9:00 am hour.

For Children's Church K-4th graders join their parents for the first half of
the adult worship service at 10:45 am. Although we value age-specific preaching and teaching, we value the presence of our children and the
unity of families. Our Children join us in the 10:45 am service so we can "parent them in the pew". After we have worshipped together, shared the Lord's table together, enjoyed special guests and any drama and video presented to the Bethany body, only then will we release our k-4th
graders to their children's church ministers for age-specific teaching.

It is our desire to help you fulfill your role (as described in Deut 6) as
the spiritual authority in your children's lives.
